On Friday? Council must give green light to personal data exchange between Europol and USA

Brussels, 26/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Friday the Council will have to give the go-ahead to signing the agreement between the USA and Europol on personal data exchanges. This will enter into force the day after the agreement is signed, which could be" on 12 December. The agreement will allow for information exchanges on people, with the aim of predicting, detecting and investigating crimes being committed.
