26/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by the member of the Scottish National Party, Neil MacCormick, the EP decided to lift the immunity of Karl-Heinz Florenz (CDU). It thus responded favourably to the request of the prosecutor general of Cleves in view of initiating an enquiry in a criminal procedure on manslaughter.
