Adoption of Commission's 13th report on competition policy in 2001

Brussels, 26/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Last week, the European Parliament adopted, with 315 in favour, 32 against and 17 abstentions, the report on the European Commission's report on competition policy (2001), tabled by France's Alain Lipietz. MEPs especially call for legal security to be assured in implementing the rules of competition to services of a general interest, and in the context of the Commission's commitment to going further in reducing State aid, for the quality of aid granted...
