26/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On the fringe of the Energy Council on Monday, German Economy Minister Wolfgang Clement confirmed to journalists the German reservation on the nuclear safety package presented by the European Commission (see EUROPE of 7 November, p.8). Some proposals concerning safety standards are not compatible with the German commitment in favour of the nuclear outlet, he said.
