GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/eib/italy

22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) gave its signature at the end of October, together with the banking group Monte dei Paschi di Siena, for the latter's subsidiary, Banca Verde to access a loan of EUR 50 million. The loan will be used to fund small and medium sized projects in the renewable energy and environment sectors.
