EP agreement for EUR 728 million for flooded regions

Brussels, 22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the reports of Joan Colom I Naval (PES, Spain) and Guido Podesta (Forza Italia), the European Parliament has approved the final legislative instruments allowing for this years provision of EUR 728 million for German, Austrian, French and Czech regions hit by flooding this year. The EP adopted the decision on the mobilisation of this year's EU Solidarity Funds, as well as the supplementary and amending budget (SAB) on the amount planned. This...
