Strasboug, 22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Dutch Socialist Leke van den Burg on the working conditions of temporary workers (see EUROPE of 4-5 November, p.17), the European Parliament approves the European Commission's proposal of directive with a series of amendments whereby it plans to strengthen protection of such workers.
