Thursday's Council will be a test of Member States' ability to keep to deadlines

Brussels, 22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The first day of the Justice and Home Affairs Council (held on 28 and 29 November) will be devoted to asylum and immigration. It will be a test day for the Presidency and for the Council as a whole, which have announced their intention to reach political agreement on all sensitive points on the agenda (EUROPE of 14-17 October).
