Strasbourg, 22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - During Thursday's debate on the sinking of the "Prestige", MEPs and the Commissioner for transport, Loyola de Palacio together attacked the inconsistency of governments that demand shipping safety measures whenever there is an oil spill and then do not implement them (for the resolution, see yesterday's EUROPE p.13).
