Luxembourg, 31/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has ruled against Germany's VAT regulation on reduction vouchers, which breaches Community law.
In contrast to France and the United Kingdom, which complied with a court decision in the Elida Gibbs case in 1996, Germany has maintained its tax system.
