Clearance to aid in favour of Communicant Semiconductor Technologies

Brussels, 31/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised Germany to pay out aid of EUR 371 million to Communicant Semiconductor Technologies AG as regional aid for large investment projects. The aid will contribute to carrying out a project aimed at building a semiconductor plant in the Land of Brandenburg, and, more especially, a plant for the production of communication chips for specific applications.
