31/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - "France does not want European Union enlargement to be to the detriment of the southern countries, and Maghreb in particular", Dominique de Villepin, French Foreign Minister, told the Moroccan press agency MAP while in Rabat on a working visit, adding that "France hopes to act and be Europe's bridgehead in favour of Morocco".
