Baron requests to have "Lula" invited to December plenary

Brussels, 31/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The president of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament, Enrique Baron has asked President Cox to invite the new Brazilian President, Luis Ignacio da Silva to the plenary session to be held in Strasbourg from 16 to 19 December. "Lula" will be in Europe from 10 to 18 December, says Baron in a letter to the European Parliament President.
