Cohn-Bendit in favour of creation of a "Party of European Greens" before next European elections

Strasbourg, 24/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Following the progress on the Greens in the 22 September elections to the Bundestag, the co-President of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament, Daniel Cohn-Bendit said on Tuesday that "the conditions are there" to set up a "Party of European Greens" (like the EPP, the PES and ELDR: Ed.).
