ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

Dutch/Swedish group, AKZO NOBEL, (turnover EUR 14 bn in 2001 with 67,000 employees in 80 pays) has handed over control of its liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing business ROSEMONT PHARMACEUTICALS LTD, in the United Kingdom, to US company BIO-TECHNOLOGY GENERAL CORP for £ 64 millions.
