24/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised by written procedure the following operations: the setting up of a joint stock company between the Japanese company Toshiba and Mitsubishi Electric. It has been re-named TD Electric Systems Inc and will be active in the electronic equipment sector; the acquisition of Ben Nederland by T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom Group) in the telecommunications sector; Macquarie Airports Luxembourg (MALSA) winning a place on the Board of Aeroporti di Roma. MALSA will take control of the company in charge of managing Rome airport, together with other shareholders, Compagnia Italpetrol, Falck, Gemina and Imrpegilo.
