Brussels, 24/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Without debate on Tuesday, the EU Council of Ministers adopted a regulation amending certain fisheries possibilities for 2002, following the agreement reached, on Friday at ambassadorial level within the fifteen, over the only controversial aspects of this proposal, that is the catches of herring, sole and anchovies (see EUROPE of 8 August p.8, for the Commission's initial proposal).
