Brussels, 24/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - In its Opinion of "Towards a Thematic Strategy for Soil Protection", the European Economic and Social Committee criticised the fact that the EU has developed common strategies in order to preserve and protect water and air but has not as yet a strategy for long-term soil protection.
