Aid to BAE Berliner Batterie Fabrik is approved

Brussels, 25/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided not to raise objections to granting aid in favour of BAE Berliner Batteriefabrik and its subsidiary MODAC, two German enterprises that manufacture and sell industrial batteries. The aid, notified in May 2002, provides for the granting of rescue aid to BAE and its subsidiary by the Land of Berlin, in the form of a loan of EUR 1 022 000.
