Afghan Minister for Foreign Affairs welcomes prospect of additional aid of EUR 70 million

Brussels, 25/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Washington, the Afghan Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Abdullah, welcomed news of the European Commission's intention to release additional aid of EUR 70 million for rebuilding central government apparatuses in his country, as well as educational and medical projects (see EUROPE yesterday p 9).
