ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

French energy services group DALKIA (part of the VIVENDI ENVIRONNEMENT and EDF group) has bought out ZTO (turnover EUR 43 million in 2001), a Czech heating distribution group. Thanks to this deal, it is now the leading heating producer in the Czech Republic and the second largest independent electricity producer.
