15/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - In a press release published on Monday, the European Commission points out that it has granted EUR 88.5 million to date in humanitarian aid to fight famine in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia and that it will be substantially increasing aid to these three countries and other Southern African countries (Lesotho, Mozambique and Swaziland) at the end of the summer and studying the problem of the long-term rehabilitation of agriculture in the region.
