United Kingdom's alleged idea of setting up "super council" rejected by Commission and denied by London

Brussels, 22/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the European Commission roundly rejected the idea reported in the Financial Times as emanating from the United Kingdom of suggesting reforming the EU's decision-making bodies to create a "super Council" based on the United Nations' Security Council.
