ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) security

SECURIS, Belgian subsidiary of the Swedish security and protection group SECURITAS AB, has taken over the Belgian firms INTERSAFE SECURITY (3.6 million euro turnover in 2001 with 80 employees) and PROSECCO (5.4 million euro turnover in 2001 with 130 staff). Through this acquisition, SECURIS' turnover will increase, in the Benelux, to 446 million euro, with a workforce of 10,000.
