United States wants time to resolve the FSC issue

Brussels/Washington, 22/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of the meeting with his European counterpart, Pascal Lamy, in Washington on Thursday and Friday, US Trade Representative Robert Zoellick said the United States would need time to find a solution to the dispute with the European Union over export subsidies in which the 144-member WTO recently ruled against the US for the fifth time running. In Brussels, the EU indicated that they would decide on the matter in Washington.
