Committee on Constitutional Affairs wants EP's role in adoption of implementing measures to be assured

Brussels, 22/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by German Christian-Democrat Karel von Wogau, on Tuesday, the European Parliament's Committee on Constitutional Affairs backs the rapid setting up of a single market for securities but calls for the European Parliament to have a well-established role in the adoption of implementing measures regarding financial services.
