Parliamentary Assembly gives go-ahead to Bosnia-Herzegovina's membership

Strasbourg, 22/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly decided on Tuesday that Bosnia-Herzegovina recognises the principles of a rule of law and human rights and is prepared to continue the democratic reform process it has embarked upon in order to bring its legislation (and its implementation) broadly in line with the Council of Europe's standards.
