Brussels, 03/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Social and Economic Committee (ESC) will be holding its plenary session on 11/12 July under the chairmanship of Göke Frerichs, and will be addressed on Thursday by Laurette Onkelinx, the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium and Employment and Equal Opportunities Minister, who will present the priorities of the Belgian Presidency of the EU for social and employment affairs (see EUROPE of 14 June, p.12).
