03/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - After the EP/Council conciliation procedure on the draft Directive on takeovers, the Secretary General of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), Emilio Gabaglio, stressed that the conciliation compromise document only made a very small reference to worker information without mentioning any real information and consultation procedure for workers and their representatives.
