The French CARREFOUR announced the acquisition of the 47% stake held by the company ESPIRITO SANTO RESOURCES in CARREFOUR PORTUGAL (turnover of EUR 329 million in 2000), Portuguese subsidiary of the French group. CARREFOUR now controls 99% of its subsidiary.
