Swedish group ASSA ABLOY has just bought up the Italian company MAB MASELLIS SPA (turnover EUR 18 million forecast for 2001 with 136 employed), which manufactures overhead door closers and floor springs. ASSA ABLOY is already present in Italy via YALE INTRUDER SECURITY.
