ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisation

- Greece: The Greek private air company AXON AIRLINES and the CYPRUS AIRWAYS consortium are the two candidates that were pre-selected for the acquisition of a stake in OA - OLYMPIC AIRWAYS by CREDIT SUISSE FIRST BOSTON, adviser for this partial privatisation. According to sources close to the operation, the first bidder would have a "slight advantage" over the second. See EI of 16 May.
