ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

The French BNP PARIBAS will acquire 4% of the South Korean holding SHINHAN FINANCIAL GROUP in the framework of a long-term partnership. The agreement will notably allow for the establishment of joint subsidiaries between SHINHAN and two 100% subsidiaries of BNP PARIBAS, namely CETELEM (consumption credits) and CARDIF (personal insurance).
