Brussels, 29/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission must adopt, during its weekly meeting, the Draft Supplementary and Amending Budget No4/2001 that will allow Member States to recover EUR 7.5 billion on the 2000 balance, in the form of reductions of their contribution to the 2001 budget. In total, the balance of the 2000 budget amounts to EUR 11.6 billion.
Other than the EUR 7.5 billion in reduction of own resources paid by Member States, this balance is broken...
