ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) outsourcing

In Belgium, EPIQ (manufacturer of aids and component assembly for the car and white goods industries) has acquired STRUCTUPLAS (EUR 58 million turnover in 2000) for around EUR 5 million, strengthening EPIQ's position in the plastic components industry. The new company will have a pro forma turnover of EUR 150 million.
