ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-foods

In France, the poultry group LDC (turnover FF 6.87 billion) has taken over its compatriot and rival company HUTTEPAIN (turnover FF 1.46 billion in 2000 with 800 employed). The new undertaking, of which HUTTEPAIN will hold 10% of the capital, will employ 7,300 on nearly 35 industrial sites.
