The Norwegian telephone company TELENOR MEDIA had acquired the French publishing company APE - ANNUAIRE PHONE EDITION (EUR 10 million turnover in 2000) which publishes phone directories for 11 provincial towns. TELENOR already had a holding in this sector in France via its 75% stake in both ANNUAIRE SOLEIL and ANNUAIRES TELEPHONIQUES DE BRETAGNE, which had a combined turnover of EUR 6.8 million in 2000.
