ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) optical fibres

The Belgian non-ferrous group UM - UNION MINIERE is to invest $2.5 million in the construction of a germanium tetrachloride production unit in North Carolina, in the United States. Germanium is used in the manufacture of optical fibres.
