Brussels, 30/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The reform of the Europe system for the importation of bananas, aimed a finally resolving one of the oldest and most complex transatlantic disputes, has begun. The text, finalised in December, received the formal "green light" from the Agriculture Council, on Monday, without any further debates, but it still remains - task that fall on the European Commission - to fine tune and rule on the enforcement regulations.
