The German media group KIRCH is to merge its multimedia activities with those of the private television PROSIEBESAT.1 of which it is the largest shareholder, thus giving rise to one of the largest companies in the new media sector in Germany. The joint undertaking will be responsible for developing the content of the two large shareholders and will become the main service provider for the provision of Internet access for KIRCHPAYTV, KIRCHMEDIA and PROSIEBENSAT.1.
