26/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - Bobo Hombach, Coordinator for the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, announced that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia had been admitted as full member of the Pact on Thursday. At a meeting in Bucharest, of one of the Pact's regional round tables, Mr. Hombach handed Goran Svilanovic, special envoy of President Kostunica, a key symbolizing this entry into the first international organisation that "is opening its doors" to democratic Serbia.
