ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

French insurance firm AXA plans to merge the management operations for Australian assets by AXA, ASIA PACIFIC and ALLIANCE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, two groups that it controls, in order to create a single entity called ALLIANCE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND, with a capital of AUS$ 23 billion.
