ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) public works buildings

The German group HOCHTIEF is to sell its road construction branch to German STRABAG for an undisclosed amount. The sale concerns three companies, namely HELMUT STRASSEN-BAU, HOCHTIEF ROHRLEITUNGS- UND KANALBAU and OTTO ROHR, which employ a total of 400 and expect a cumulated turnover in 2001 of EUR 130 million.
