ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electronics

The Swiss company MICRONAS SEMICONDUCTOR HOLDING has acquired from INFINEON, the semi-conductor subsidiary of German SIEMENS, its integrated circuits division for consumer "image and video" electronics, for the sum of EUR 250 million. This activity generated a turnover of EUR 135 million for the financial year ending 30 September 2000.
