Brussels, 12/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - European Agriculture Commissioner Franz Fischler, took part for the first time at a ministerial meeting of the Cairns Group, the group of countries that are fighting for liberalisation of agricultural trade worldwide and which are campaigning for the dismantling of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
