Brussels, 12/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - ETNO, which represents 46 of Europe's largest telecommunications operators, has called for an urgent reform of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The public operators are threatening to leave the world organisation if significant changes are not made quickly. They consider that the ITU should "be a more commercially oriented organisation designed to promote telecommunications services of value for both developed and developing countries"....
