ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

In France, EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE it preparing to take-over SIIF ENERGIES (turnover of FF 630 million in 1999), company specialised in the creation of electricity power stations running on renewable energies. The operation will be carried out via a capital increase, which will enable EDF to acquire a 35% stake for around FF 300 million. EDF should increase it in the future to 55%.
