The French PERNOD RICARD, in talks with the British CADBURY SCHWEPPES in order to sell ORANGINA-PAMPRYL (see EI of 4 October), it is also considering separating itself from its subsidiary SIAS-MPA, specialised in fruit preparations notably used in the production of fruit yoghurts. By including ciders, housed in the same division, the activity accounts for around FF 4.6 billion of the annual turnover or 19% of the group's total sales.
