"Culture" Council to try to agree on budget for audiovisual aid programme "Media Plus" on Tuesday

Brussels, 22/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Culture Council, which is to meet on Tuesday 26 September, chaired by French Minister Catherine Tasca, will exclusively be devoted to the programme of the aid to the audiovisual industry, Media Plus, which should take over from the current Media II programme in January 2001. The essential part of the debate, with as goal to convince the most reluctant government (that of the Netherlands), will be of a budgetary nature, to find a solution acceptable...
