ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) internet

The Internet portal LYCOS EUROPE (turnover EUR 40.2 million for financial year ending June) has bought up its Swedish competitor SPRAY NETWORK (turnover EUR 28.5 million for the financial year ending end June) through a share swap worth EUR 674 million. After the operation, the SPRAY NETWORK shareholders will hold 29.26% of the LYCOS EUROPE capital.
